The Jolly Sportsman is a quaint country pub nestled at the foot of the South Downs, boasting a warm and inviting atmosphere. the room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, complete with modern amenities like a coffee machine and spacious bed. the dinner at the pub was top-notch, with a delicious menu and a surprisingly good wine selection. the staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I was particularly impressed with the breakfast choices offered, which satisfied all tastes. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate any requests and ensure a pleasant stay. the Jolly Sportsman offers a great value proposition for those looking for a peaceful retreat in the English countryside. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the area.
